“When I think of art, I see both the visual and the aural as equally important, with one bolstering the other,” says Adam Jones, who selected the seven striking artworks beautifully reproduced on the backs of these guitars. The Epiphone Les Paul Customs are finished in Antique Silverburst as an homage to Adam’s original 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom.

For this unprecedented collection, Adam curated works by artists Mark Ryden, Frank Frazetta, Julie Heffernan, Korin Faught, and Ernst Fuchs. Epiphone will make only 800 of each model for this extremely limited-edition run.

The seventh model released as part of the Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection features Mark Ryden’s “Queen Bee.”

This final model features Mark Ryden’s “Queen Bee” on the back. Blending themes of pop culture with techniques of the old masters, Mark Ryden blurs the traditional boundaries between high and low art in a new genre of “Pop Surrealism.” It is also the only model from the Adam Jones Custom Art Collection with front-facing artwork in the form of a bee on the front of the body.

Each limited-edition guitar comes with a marquee back plate showing the name of the artist and artwork, a headstock featuring an additional design by artist Korin Faught, and a Protector hardshell case.
